What is being tested here

Six checks on your live connection, all run from this browser over your real network path.

The mode chip states what you expect right now. It changes only the exit-IP card: an ISP address with a VPN on is a leak, the same address with no VPN is just your connection.

What a clean run does and does not mean

Six checks passing means no leak on this browser, on this network, at this moment. Narrower than anonymous: fingerprinting, logged-in accounts, cookies, traffic timing and provider logs all sit outside a leak test. It covers only the path this page took: an extension proxy, a split-tunnel rule or another app can leave by a different route.
